We are a wrestling club for boys ages 4-14.

Our goals are for our wrestlers to:

  • HAVE FUN!

  • Grow in skill, toughness, and character

  • Build friendships

  • Learn to draw on Jesus for strength to do difficult things

  • Learn to use their bodies to honor God (in sports and life)

"The Lord is my STRENGTH and my PRAISE, and He has become my salvation...The Lord is a WARRIOR, the Lord is His name."
– Exodus 15: 2a-3

Our club began in winter of 2023/2024. We're excited for our fourth season to start November 2026!

The club is run by Head Coach, Dan Hughes. Dan is also an assistant coach for the Rochester Christian University wrestling team. Dan wrestled in college for Michigan State University, and in high school was a 2X All-State high school wrestler (55-2 senior year record). He's married and has five kids (two are sons in the club)!

The coaches of Wild Warrior Wrestling Club have a passion to mentor the boys to grow in CHARACTER, SKILL, TOUGHNESS, and FAITH as they learn to fix their eyes on Jesus and have FUN with the sport of wrestling.

The club is open to boys ages 4-14. Our practices are held at Mt Zion Community Center in Waterford, MI.
